ESPNs Colin Cowherd says Diddy sent him a bunch of vodka for praising his son

We all know what (allegedly) happens when you loudly criticize the football-playing son of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs: He will throw a kettlebell at you.
But what happens if you praise UCLA junior defensive back Justin Combs? His father, apparently, will shower you with vodka.
As shown in the above video, TMZ’s cameras caught up with ESPN Radio personality Colin Cowherd outside what looks to be some sort of airport. He tells the story of that once time when he had nice things to say about Justin Combs.
“So years ago, when his son was offered a scholarship to UCLA, I went on the air and I said it’s pretty cool that even though he’s worth a billion dollars, his kid worked hard enough to be a Division I football player,” Cowherd said. “So it got back to Diddy that I said it, and two days later I got this gigantic basket full of his vodkas. So somebody said that they heard I had complimented his fathering and his parenting. … I thought it was” a nice gesture.
Cowherd said he sympathized with Diddy, up to a point.
“It’s the classic ‘Little League Dad’ syndrome, like you can control yourself but if somebody screws your kid you go crazy. I’m not excusing P-Diddy, but I’m a dad and I have kids. It’s hard to watch your kid struggle, and he probably saw something and it drove him crazy and he went nuts and he really made a poor decision.
“I like dads at practice. I don’t like dads at practice throwing a kettlebell.”
